Chilli and lime are two flavours that work amazingly well together. This seasoning can be used for steaks and chicken, or even sweet potato wedges or chips.
What you need:
grated zest of 1 lime
freshly squeezed juice of 1 lime
1 garlic clove, crushed
¼ tsp chilli flakes
½ tsp paprika
1 tbsp mild and light olive oil
salt and pepper
Thoroughly mix together all the ingredients to make the seasoning.
For steaks and chicken:
Rub on the seasoning and marinade for 30 minutes (if you have the time) before cooking.
For sweet potato chips or wedges:
Put the seasoning in a large bowl.
Add your sweet potato chips or wedges and stir until they are well coated with the seasoning.
Transfer to a baking tray and cook in the oven at 180C for about 40 minutes, or until the sweet potato is nicely browned and crisp.
